Excursion Tips
Redlingerhütte
"ausse & aufi" is the slogan of the Redlingerhütte – Redlinger hut.
If you have already made it to the museum gugging, you are already halfway there. For 45 years, the Redlingerhütte has been offering refreshments after short walks or long hikes.
Getting there:
Go from museum gugging in the direction of the House of Artists and then, after the construction site, turn right down the dirt road. When you reach the bottom, turn left and then continue straight ahead along the path to the edge of the forest. From there, continue along the forest road, which is also suitable for baby carriages, and you will reach the Redlingerhütte after a leisurely 25-minute walk.

Lourdes Grotto
This hike will take you through wooded areas to Schlossgasse. A detour to the Tempelberg observatory is highly recommended at this point. In Hadersdorf, you have the option of continuing the tour to Greifenstein Castle or turning back toward the Lourdes grotto. Afterwards, enjoy a well-deserved round following your tour: stop off at Gasthof Waldhaus.
Walking time from museum gugging: 2 1/2 hours
